My interests lie in “How to create resilient, sustainable and livable cities”.
Increasing traffic congestion is a major factor in large and growing metropolitan areas across the world including most of the cities in Iran. I grew up in Tehran, a city that urgently needs sustainable solutions.
I studied Urban Development Engineering in Iran. With this background, I came to the Netherlands to study Urban and Regional Planning. When I arrived in The Netherlands I was amazed by the multimodality in this country. That is why I decided to do my internship and thesis on Mobility Planning in Iran at MOVE Mobility.
I continued studying in The Netherlands and now hold a Master in Urban Development and Management of the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam. I have been working at MOVE Mobility since 2017. This year I also joined the international team of Excellent Cities (partners are Goudappel, APPM and MOVE Mobility www.excellent-cities.com).
My ambition is to build a new bridge between the Middle East and The Netherlands.
